I like brewing beer at home and with anyone else who will have me. I’m currently enjoying my job, but see my future in the brewing industry.
I have a growing interest in beer, as a brewer and a beer blogger. I brew, drink, think, write or dream about beer 24/7. Sometimes all at the same time.
I’m a member of The Leeds Homebrew group and the Northern Craft Brewers (a regional group directly connected to the Craft Brewing Association). I had a go at brewing commercially with Northern Monk Brew Co. You can contact me by email: BroadfordBrewery (at) gmail (dot) com or on Twitter: @Broadfordbrewer.
Homebrewing successes:
Northern Craft Brewers – Best Cask Ale, 2012. Tomahawk.
Copper Dragon – 1st place – Belgian Pale Ale
Ilkley Brewery – Joint 1st place – American Brown Ale (shared honours with Matt Lovatt). Combined recipes created Joshua Jane.
Roosters Brewing Co – 1st place – Transatlanticism
I enjoyed your enthusiasm and motivation and look froward to reading more. I am no spring chicken as I will be retiring to begin brewing full time very soon.
Keep up the good work!
Regards
Cliff
Thanks Cliff. My enthusiasm wavers from time to time, but you can’t beat the feeling of brewing a tasty beer. Good luck in your less than relaxing retirement!!!

Hello
I’m looking to chat to people about home brewing for a new TV programme I’m developing. Would you be able to get in touch and I can explain more?
