North Leeds Charity Beer Festival 2012

I received an email this week from the organisers of this event asking for a mention.  As this event is for charity, local to me and being a beer festival, I am more than happy to oblige.
You can follow the organisers and receive updates via Twitter and full details as follows:
The Inaugural North Leeds Charity Beer Festival takes place on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th April 2012.
Friday 18:00-23:00
Saturday 12:00-22:00
St Aidan’s Community Hall, Roundhay Road, Leeds, LS8 5QD
Entrance via Elford Place, West.
In association with the Lord Mayor of Leeds and Rotary Club of Roundhay.
The North Leeds Charity Beer Festival is being run with the help of Leeds CAMRA members.
Festival entry £2 free to CAMRA & SPBW members.
The North Leeds Charity Beer Festival will feature over 30 interesting and unusual Cask Ales showcasing micro and independent Yorkshire breweries. This will include Yorkshire beers not commonly tasted around the Leeds area.
To arrive by public transport from Leeds City Centre, busses 12, 13 and 13A all go via Roundhay Road.

  1. We managed to raise £2600 for charity in our first attempt at running a beer festival. We will be releasing details shortly about the 2013 event.

Please let me know what you think of my post. Thanks.
